Minor Bantam A win Gene Harrington Fall Classic
On February 22nd – 24th the EG Minor Bantam team travelled to Buffalo New York to compete in the Gene Harrington Fall Classic.

The boys played great hockey throughout round robin play finishing up 2-0-1 and outscoring our opponents (Honeybaked, Stoney Creek & Cheektowaga) 13-2 in the process which qualified them for the Championship game. In the finals the game was back and forth with EG prevailing 4-2 over L'Impact Collage Durocher-St-Lambert with an empty net goal in the dying seconds to seal the victory.

The weekend was a great experience for all as the boys got to play an outdoor game at the famed Riverworks Arena in downtown Buffalo as well as attend both the Niagara University Hockey Game on the Friday night, which included a locker room tour, as well as the NHL game between the Buffalo Sabres and Washington Capitals on the Saturday afternoon. Congrats boys on a well-deserved victory.
