Team Spirit Award
Open to all teams in every division and at any level (rep, house league, local loop) The spirit award is meant to recognize people who through their contributions to hockey and in their community make a difference in the lives of others.
The description below lists the qualities that we strive to recognize.
The symbol for the EGMHA Spirit Award is the Inukshuk. The Inukshuk symbol means 'someone was here' or 'you are on the right path' and both meanings are fitting for the EGMHA Spirit Award.
The Spirit Awards are meant to recognize those who, through their earnest contribution to community hockey, have made their presence felt. The award will honour those who, through inspired action, generosity, compassionate behaviour, or kind gestures have brought the best aspects of the human spirit to our arena.
Submissions can include a written story, picture(s) and/or presentation of any individual player or team that displayed spirit attributes.
Anyone within the hockey community can put forth a nomination.
All nominations must be sent to [email protected] by February 28th.
