Minor Atom A Eagles Give Back
With Christmas season quickly approaching, our Minor Atom A Eagles crew chose to support a community initiative through York Regional Police this year.
York Regional Police is leading the "Holiday Heroes" campaign to support families in York Region who could use a little Christmas Cheer. The players and families came together to support a 6 month old baby boy and a 7 year old girl and did it in classic Eagles style. We collected several toys, books, clothing and gift cards to give these two young humans a beautiful Christmas.
Thank you to York Regional Police for giving us space to support such a great cause for children and also for the tour of the training facility afterwards. Our Eagles were all very keen to explore policing as a future career.
Congratulations to our Eagles and our Eagle families for paying it forward with generosity and kindness.
