Mary Parkinson Memorial Tourney
On Thursday April 13th/23 The U14A Eagles travelled to Richmond Hill to participate in The Mary Parkinson Memorial Tournament.
First up The Eagles would faceoff against the host Stars and skate away with a 5-0 victory.
Next up on Friday April 14th The Eagles would take on The Oakville Rangers Red squad, in what would be a hit filled game. The Eagles would how ever come away with a 4-3 victory.
In an evening contest the Eagles would once again face The Copper Cliff Reds, this one would not go The Eagles way and they would be handed a 3-1 loss.
On Saturday the Eagles would faceoff against Halton Hills Thunder. This game would get delayed to bad ice and have to be played late Saturday evening at another arena. The Eagles would once again play a great game, but could only manage a 1-1 tie which would eliminate them from the tourney.
This was some of the best hockey the Eagles played this year !!!!!!!!
We would like to thank all the coaching staff, Parents and players for an incredible season, it will be one to remember and East Gwillimbury will forever be our home and we always be Eagles at heart.
