Collingwood Tourney
On Friday October 28th/2022 The U14 A Eagles participated in the Collingwood Huronia Tourney. In game #1 The Eagles would face The Oakville Rangers. The Eagles would fall behind 1- 0 but comeback to tie it, but could not hold off The Rangers and would take a 5-1 loss to start the tourney.
In game # 2 The eagles would face the Ajax- Pickering Raiders. The Eagles would score early and often to beat the Raiders 7-2.
On Saturday The Eagles would face off against the Copper Cliff Reds for game # 3. the Eagles would jump out to a 3- 0 Lead, but The Reds would not give up and were able to pull with in 1 goal in the third and pressured the Eagles who were able to hang on to advance to the Semi Final Saturday night against the host Collingwood Blues.
In Game #4/Semifinal The Eagles would fall behind 1- 0 to The Blues but tied it quickly at 1-1, but with penalty trouble The Eagles would fall to the Blues 3-1 and be eliminated from tournament play.
