Minor PeeWee A win the Gene Harrington Niagara Showdown
Our Minor Peewee Eagles traveled to the Gene Harrington Niagara Showdown in Niagara, New York on October 25th to October 27th. The Eagles went undefeated during the round robin and went on to win the Championship game 4-0 over the Waterloo Warriors.
The team had a great outing the Friday night and went to see a Niagara University Purple Eagles Game. Before the game the coach of the Niagara team showed the Eagles around their facilities and explained the schedule that the team went through. From the training room, to the classroom. A visit to their dressing room was definitely a highlight for the team! The team had front row seats to watch some fast and exciting hockey!!
The weekend was a great success both on and off the ice!! Both of our goalies earned shut outs. It was definitely a great experience for all but especially the new players that have never played in an away tournament.. As well as this being Minor PeeWee Eagles' first USA tournament.
