'Respect in Hockey’
 is a concept that receives considerable attention in both minor hockey and in community sport. The Ontario Minor Hockey Association is committed to the prevention of abuse, bullying and harassment, and the education of our membership.


Team Officials, On-ice Officials and On-ice volunteers are required to complete the online Respect in Sport - Activity Leader Program or in-class Speak Out! certification.


There is a $30.00 fee to complete the RIS -Activity Leader Program.

Note: The Respect in Sport - Activity Leader Program is the online equivalent of Speak Out. 
Regardless if a Parent holds Speak Out or Respect in Sport - Activity Leader Program certification, one parent per family must take the Respect in Sport – Parent Program certification.
