Please note that as our attempt to host the meeting in-person on May 21st did not meet the required membership quorum to conduct business. The rescheduled meeting will be held via MS Teams on Monday June 17th.

here to register to attend. We do need to meet quorum, so we encourage members to attend, if we don't meet quorum we are unable to run an election - currently the terms the of half of board are expired, without a board we are unable to ensure consistency in our hockey programming.
As a reminder members who played Upper York Minor Hockey (and are East Gwillimbury residents), this is your AGM as well, our pilot project is heading into Year 2 and you feedback as we make decisions about the eventual membership vote is critical to ensure we are best representing all our members . Note:
EGMHA membership includes players, coaches, volunteers that participated in EGMHA hockey this past season or played, coached, volunteered with UYMHA AND live in East Gwillimbury. Players from Upper York that live in Georgina, your AGM was held by GMHA at the end of April.

Please note that we do have executive positions up for election.
We are a volunteer run organization and the continued success of the EGMHA is very dependent on the strength of our volunteers and we are always looking for new people willing to contribute their time to our various programs. In the last several years the shortage of volunteers on our board has taken a toll on the small number of volunteers we have, continued vacancies in critical roles will have a negative impact on the programs we are able to offer.
We welcome all that are interested in filling those positions to please reach out to one of our current executive members to learn more about their roles and responsibilities. Nominations forms for those interested in running for a position are posted here. While we encourage nominations to be submitted in advance, nominations will also be taken from the floor.
