U18 Graduating Game
Help us celebrate our 2007 Eagles as they bring their official minor hockey careers to an end. We know these amazing kids are off to great things, help us give them a proper send off!
Some of you may remember the Ballentine family, Rob was a long time House and Local League Coach, Kristen served on our EGMHA Board and both boys Connor and Liam played House and Local League Hockey with us until they aged out.
Connor, now 21, was in a devastating snowboarding accident in February where he suffered a severe break to his spinal cord, resulting in paralysis. He has now started on his road to recovery at the Lyndhurst Centre where he can begin his rehab and learn new ways of doing things. He will require extensive home and vehicle modifications, assistive devices such as wheelchairs, ramps and lifts, in addition to the ongoing physical therapy once he is able to return home.
At our U18 Graduating game, we are home our Eagles families will help support on of our own in a time of need. We will have a donation box as well as Chuck a Puck during the game, with all proceeds going to Connor's recovery. Please come out and support our u18 Eagles and Connor!
