Rep Head Coach applications are now open for the 2026/27 season, for all Admirals Rep programs (AA, A, B/BB, 8 & 9 MD) are now open on the Upper York Minor Hockey website. Upper Minor Hockey is the organization for any East Gwillimbury or Georgina minor hockey players looking to play Representative hockey.
Whether you are a seasoned coach with years of experience or an aspiring mentor looking to make a difference, we encourage all individuals passionate about hockey to apply.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to developing players’ skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive and competitive atmosphere.
Paid Coaching Positions
In addition to volunteer roles, we are offering paid non-parent AA coaching positions for the 2026/27 season.
This is an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in making coaching a professional pursuit, as well as for individuals who already have a background in coaching and wish to be compensated for their time and expertise.
Requirements and Expectations Applicants for coaching positions should meet the following criteria:
· Strong knowledge of hockey fundamentals, strategies, and the ability to teach young athletes.
· Ability to communicate effectively and motivate players.
· A passion for teaching and growing the sport of hockey.
· Previous coaching experience
· OMHA, OHF Applicable coaching certifications completion
