Golden Moments
Submitted By Eric Kopsala on Tuesday, December 30, 2014
On Saturday Dec 13th players from the Atom Red HL team coached by Scott Barkey were presented each with $100 Sport Chek gift cards. The presentation was made by the local McDonald’s rep Mae Law.

The teams dressing room was decorated and McD’s had cookies and muffins for the players and families. To win the prize the team took part in the ATOMC Golden Moments program. After each game this year the team coaching staff awarded the “moment of the game”. The player that was chosen received the teams golden jersey. The players parents then took a picture of the player in the golden jersey and uploaded it to the McDonalds web site along with a short description of how the player won the jersey.

Once uploaded the team along with parents, family and friends voted each day for our plyers. The team with the most votes from Oct – Nov won the prize. The team competed against teams from across Canada to win the competition.
