EGMHA Equipment Weekend Sept 13 to 15th
Submitted By EGMHA Webmaster (JM) on Tuesday, July 23, 2019
EGMHA has set up a couple of fantastic events to help your player get ready for the 2019-20 season:

Annual Equipment Exchange
Are you looking to clean out some of that gently used equipment that is too small for your child?   Drop off your equipment at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex (Canada Hall) on Friday September 13th between 7:00 and 9:00 pm.  On Saturday, September 14th, between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm, the EGMHA will sell the equipment.  Proceeds can go to seller or may be donated to EGMHA.

Immediately following the sale, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, proceeds from the sale may be picked up by sellers. All donations made to the EGMHA portion of the sale will help outfit those players in our community who otherwise would not be able to afford to play hockey.

We will not be accepting helmets or jock/jills in the exchange.

If you are a student who is looking for volunteer hours and would like to help on either the Friday setting up or during the sale please send an email to: [email protected]

Mouth Guard Clinic
On Saturday, September 14th between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm, and again on Saturday, September 21st between 8:00 am and 2:00 pmDental Professionals from Susan’s Smile Centre will be on-site at the EG Sports Complex and will take a mould of your player’s teeth.  A custom fit mouth guard is fabricated while you wait (usually within 1-3 hours). Once it is completed the fit is checked and adjustments are made on the spot.

Please note that mouth guards must be picked up same day. A protective case is included in the cost.

National Sports Shopping Weekend
If after visiting the two events above, if your player is still in need of equipment for the season then take advantage of the National Sports Shopping Weekend for EGMHA members running
Friday, September 13 to Sunday September 15th.

EG members will receive a 15% discount off the ticket price for most items in the store.

Just click the link below to download the flyer, and bring a printed copy or show on your mobile device when you check out.

National Sports has also shared a second savings opportunity this weekend on specific items.  Offers can not be combined but members should show both offers to ensure they are getting the best possible savings on any purchases.
