Message regarding use of EGMHA Branding on Apparel
Submitted By EGMHA Webmaster (JM) on Monday, February 17, 2020
Please see the message from EGMHA Vice President below:

Dear Members,

It has been brought to our attention that there has been unsanctioned apparel created by several parents/teams.  This is in direct violation of our agreement with our apparel supplier and our Constitution.

As stated in our Constitution under Branding:

EAST GWILLIMBURY MINOR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION JACKET AND CREST: EGMHA - Jackets, sweatsuits, shirts, hats, logos, crests, shields etc. must be of the style and colours determined appropriate by the VP Parents Auxiliary. All purchases which are intended to be, or to signify membership and/or participation within EGMHA and utilised by EGMHA teams, must be purchased from a list of preferred suppliers who are seasonally selected by the VP Parents Auxiliary.  Any deviation from the preferred suppliers must first have the approval of the VP Parents Auxiliary. Failure to do so will result in sanctions being placed against the team up to and possibly including the suspension of coaching staff.

As a result of this violation if a team/parent/player is found wearing apparel not approved by our VP Parents Auxiliary, the player and coach of their team will be given a 1 game suspension, for subsequent violations suspensions will be determined based on the offence.

Thank you, if you have any questions please direct your emails to the VP of EGMHA - Ed Vetere
