EGMHA 2019-20 Award Winners
Every year EGMHA has several awards for players, coaches and volunteers. We are pleased to announce the following winners for the 2019/20 season. 

Coach of the Year Awards
This award is presented on an annual basis to one Coach from the House League, Local Loop and the Rep programs who represents the values, goals and philosophy of EGMHA. These coaches demonstrates leadership of not only children but also the adults of the game, be it parents, co-coaches, or officials. Our Coaches-of-the-Year, would have demonstrated patience, allowing for individual differences; he/she are role models on and off the ice, motivating & encouraging the growth of our EGMHA players.

Kenny Clarke Memorial Trophy 
This award is presented to any player in the EGMHA who exemplifies the qualities that Kenny Clark demonstrated in his play and love for the game: 

- Desire
- Dedication
- Honesty
- Determination
- Unselfish Courage

Allan Case Memorial Award
The award for the participant from the PeeWee or Bantam House/Local Loop League, who plays the game with dignity, shows love for the game, commitment to the team, sportsmanship and respect for the officials, for the spirit of the sport, not the winning of the game.

Allen Albright Memorial Heart Award

This award is presented to player from Novice House League who exemplifies the qualities that Allen Albright demonstrated in his play and love for the game:
 

H - Hockey Skills Improvement

E - Enthusiasm for practices and games

A - Adheres to rules and fair play

R - Respect towards team and game officials

T - Team Spirit with demonstrated support towards others less skilled

Spirit Awards

The Spirit Award is meant to recognize individuals who, through their earnest contribution to community hockey, have made their presence felt.  The award will honour those who, through inspired action, generosity, compassionate behaviour, or kind gestures have brought the best aspects of the human spirit to our arena.
