OHF Return to Hockey Framework
Submitted By EGMHA Webmaster (JM) on Tuesday, June 16, 2020
Last week the OHF approved their Return to Hockey Framework and specifically the implementation of Phase 2 - Stage 1, based guidance from Hockey Canada and on the current Ontario Government Emergency Order Amendment.

The framework lists types of activities that may be resumed and includes guidance for returning to play but there are no specific timelines associated. As well associations are encouraged to work with their local municipalities on requirements and considerations to ensure that the eventual return to play is done in a manner that is safe for everyone involved.

EGMHA wants to ensure members that we are participating in the OHF information sessions and are continuing to work with OMHA and the Town of East Gwillimbury to make sure we are ready when we are permitted to return to hockey.
