As most of you are aware the Province has announced that York Region will now join Other regions in being rolled back to a modified Stage Two. This takes effect as of 12:01 am on Monday morning and continues until midnight on Sunday, November 15th (28 days).
EGMHA Executive have been meeting over the weekend to look at our options as to how to proceed and we have come to the decision that effective 12:01 am on Monday Oct 19th,
East Gwillimbury Minor Hockey Association at the direction of the Ontario government, will be temporarily halting our scheduled hockey operations for a period of 28 days.
Please know that this has been an extremely difficult decision. All our volunteers have worked so hard to get this season up and running. We are looking at revising our schedule to ensure lost ice time will be made up during the remainder of the season, as we hope we will be able to resume the season after the 28 days.
