Return to Hockey Update
On Tuesday November 4th the Province of Ontario announced a new framework for re-opening. York Region will now be transitioning out of the “Modified Stage 2” and into the new “Restrict” phase.

What does this mean for EGMHA?
For the most part, this represents a return to how we were operating in Stage 3 which includes the return of our U18 programs as well as regular team practices and modified game play. It is anticipated that we will be able to implement this plan starting Monday November 16, 2020, we are just waiting for some clarification and direction from the Town of East Gwillimbury, OHF, OMHA and the Province before we can go back to where we were prior to entering Modified Stage 2.

In addition to our previous Return to Play plan, please review these highlighted key points:
 - Health Check Screening must continue to be completed - when we return on Nov 16th, we will be using the new mobile app, please stay tuned for more details!
- Everyone must continue to observe physical distancing, wearing a mask while inside (except when on ice) and sanitizing/washing hands frequently.
- Players will be allowed to scrimmage and play games with the Tiered teams and player bubbles we used earlier in the season
- We are seeking further clarification on spectators/guardians entering the facility

We look forward to seeing everyone at the rink once again.
Thank you for your patience and understanding during these difficult times.
