EGMHA is currently looking for a volunteer interested to work with the current VP Player & Coach Development in the role of the Deputy VP Player & Coach Development.
The responsibilities for the Deputy VP Player & Coach Development include attending monthly Executive meetings and assisting the VP Player & Coach Development with the following:
- Operation of EGMHA's Hockey Development Programs consisting of:
- Player skills development
- Coach development
- OMHA field evaluation certification for coaches
- Coach selection
- Parent coach questionnaire analysis
- Player & coach development budgets
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
- Experience on the coaching staffs of multiple age groups, ideally from Initiation to U18
- Experience with one or ideally all of house league, local league, and representative divisions
- Passion for EGMHA hockey
- Passion for mentoring
