U13A Eagles are Dunsmuir Memorial Tournament Champions
Congrats to all EG Eagles that participated in the Dunsmuir Memorial Tournament.
We had two teams play in Championships games with the U14A team finishing as Runners Up to the Guelph Gryphons (2-1 final) and the U13A finishing as tournament Champions.

Our U13A Eagles opened the tournament with a 11-2 win over the West Nipissing Sting. They went on during the round robin to tie the Glancaster Bombers (3-3) and win against the North Bay Trappers (6-3). The semi-finals saw a rematch against the Glancaster team, after a hard fought battle, our Eagles took the semi with a 3-1, which booked their ticket to the Championship game on Sunday.
Sunday, our Eagles were up against the always tough Innisfil Winterhawks. In the end their determination and teamwork saw them claim the championship with a 3-1 win.
This was another great tournament for our u13A Eagles, who went undefeated earlier in the season to win the Bradford Blue and Gold Classic in November!
We thank all teams and families who came out to support the return of the Dunsmuir Memorial Tournament. It was an exciting weekend of hockey. We look forward to seeing everyone back next year!
