Novice Eagles start York Simcoe Play Off Round
Novice EG Eagles started their York Simcoe Play Off Round this past weekend with an exciting couple of games. They are up against the Whitchurch-Stouffville Clippers and the Bradford Bulldogs in this elimination round.
First game saw our Eagles on the road against the Clippers. Our Eagles opened up an early lead in the game but the Clippers fought back to go ahead 6-5 in the third period. With just over a minute left, our Eagles dug deep to score the tying goal, with the game ending in a 6-6 tie.
On Sunday they faced the Bulldogs at home and played an impressive game to come away with the 4-1 win.
Next they face the Bulldogs at the Bradford Leisure Centre on Friday evening at 6:30 and then on Saturday are back at home to face off against the Clippers at noon.
Both games are bound to be exciting as our Eagles push for the wins to win this round and advance. Best of luck to our Novice players, you can do it Eagles!!!
