Minor PeeWees - Runners Up in Silver Stick Qualifier
The Minor Peewee A team headed to Woodstock the weekend of October 21st to participate in the Regional Silver Stick Qualifier.
After 3 hard fought round robin games against 3 of the current top 10 ranked teams in the province the team ended up with a record of 2 and 1, finishing 2nd in their pool and qualified for the semi-finals.
The team came out flying in our semi-final game scoring 2 quick goals in the 1st period and was able to hang on for a 3-1 win over the 1st place team from the other pool.
Unfortunately after a hard fought battle with Innisfil, our Minor PeeWee Eagles lost 2-0 with an empty net goal to seal the deal in the Championship Game.
Great job Minor PeeWee Eagles on an excellent tournament!
