We are excited to welcome back to the ice
our returning and new players in our House League and Local League programs. We
have been working hard over the summer planning and preparing for another
exciting year of Eagles Hockey.
Our season will begin for U11 to U16 Local League with Evaluations on
September 16th and 17th, and on September 30th
and October 1st for all House League and U18 Local League Divisions.
We are currently running prep skates for players wishing to try out for
the U8 or U9 MD teams, once those are complete, Evaluations for the teams will
take place. Players that are not offered a spot on those teams will return to
the ice for our U9 House League Evaluations.
Times for each age group are on the EGMHA Calendar, you will receive an
email prior to your first ice time with details.
The general times for each division are posted on the EGMHA Calendar,
for divisions with more than one ice time each day, you should have received an
email with the time that your player is assigned to.
- · Parents are not allowed to be on the player benches during
House or Local League hockey programming, only volunteers appointed as bench
staff are allowed in the player areas. Parent are welcome to watch from the
stands or lobby.
- · Jerseys and socks will be handed out once the teams are
formed, so you will need our own jerseys and socks for Evaluations. For players
in Local League, you will receive an email directing you to wear either a light
or dark coloured jersey to the Evaluation skate. If you don’t have access to jerseys
and socks please let us know
Full equipment is required to go on the ice, including
mouthguard and neck guard
Bring a water bottle labelled with your player’s name
- · Once the teams are formed, the schedules for the remainder of
the season will be on the association website calendar (please note Local
League game schedules will not be available until after the LL Scheduling

balance across all House and Local League teams.
