Novice A, U9, 2015-2016 (EGMHA)

Your Novice A Eagles are excited to participate in the Dunsmuir Memorial Tournament next weekend (April 8-10) right here in East Gwillimbury.  This will be the very first home tournament for most of our players.  The schedule is available @  http://egmha.com/Tournaments/1236/Teams/36/

Novice EG Eagles started their York Simcoe Play Off Round this past weekend with an exciting couple of games.  They are up against the Whitchurch-Stouffville Clippers and the Bradford Bulldogs in this elimination round.  First game saw our Eagles on the road against the Clippers.   Our Eagles opened up an early lead in the game but the Clippers fought back to go ahead 6-5 in the third period. With just over a minute left, our Eagles dug deep to score the tying goal, with the game ending in a 6-6 tie. 

The Novice A Eagles are starting the OMHA Round 1 Play Downs vs the Orillia Terriers.  Game One is in Orillia on Tuesday January 26th. Come cheer your Eagles on in their home game on Saturday January 30th at 4:40pm. Go Eagles Go!!!

The Novice A team players are ready and excited to participate in their first Silver Stick Regional Qualifier Tournament this coming weekend (Dec 4 -6) in Midland, Ontario.   This is an exciting milestone for these young hockey players as the Silver Stick Tournament is the largest hockey tournament held in North America!  Between the Regional and International Finals, it hosts over 65,000 players and coaches every year from across North America.  For more on the history of Silver Stick tournament, click here.
