With York Simcoe Express AAA tryouts just around the corner, please remember that you will need a Permission to Skate form. These are supplied by our VP of Rep. The East Gwillimbury Minor Hockey Association (EGMHA) operates as a separate organization under the guidelines of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA).  Within the EGMHA we operate teams at the Rep, Local League and House League levels. The local league teams all play in the Simcoe Region Local League (SRLL). This organization is made up of member centres from Beeton, Bradford, EG, Innisfil, LeFroy, NobleKing, Richmond Hill, Schomberg, Thornton and TNT. With the hockey season approaching, Holland Landing Health Centre would like to extend an offer for preseason baseline concussion testing using the Sports Concussion Assessment Tool – 3rd Edition (SCAT 3) for players with the East Gwillimibury Minor Hockey Association.  What is the SCAT 3?  The SCAT 3 is a standardized tool for evaluating injured athletes for concussion.  Preseason baseline testing with the SCAT 3 can be helpful for interpreting post-injury test scores.
