Tyke Select, 2014-2015 (EGMHA)

The East Gwillimbury Tyke Select Team wrapped up its perfect season as a grand-prize winner in the Ford Drills and Skills Competition. Congratulations to our East Gwillimbury Eagles on winning the Tyke Roster Select Division of the Pickering Minor Hockey Spring Thaw Tournament over Easter Weekend. Our Eagles secured first place in the Round Robin with wins against the Kiwanis Select Stars (6-1), Barrie Colts (8-1), Markham Waxers (7-0) and the Oshawa Falcons (2-0). The Tyke Select Eagles are looking to finish their season with a perfect record in their final home game of the season.   These seven year olds have been playing their hearts out all season and to date are undefeated, come show your Eagle pride and cheer them on as they go for their 27th win of the season ​this Friday March 27th at 6:00 pm at the East Gwillimbury Sports Complex West Pad.   Go Eagles Go!!!

Congratulations to our East Gwillimbury Eagles on winning the Tyke Roster Select Division of the Orillia Minor Hockey March Break Festival.   Our Eagles went undefeated on the first day of the festival, with wins over the ​Peterborough Petes (15-0) and Highland Storm (12-2).  This left the Eagles with a 0.981 goal ratio which placed them in 2nd going into the elimination games. 

Friday March 7th was a big day for our Tyke Select team, not only did they continue their streak with their 20th win, but they also found out they were Grand Prize Winners in the Ford Drills and Skills Contest!!! During the month of February, their story was posted on the Ford Drills and Skills website and collected enough votes to win them a training session at the Air Canada Centre.
